Marc Devlin has a wealth of experience in operations management; process development, program management and engineering design acquired over 20 years in a variety of industries both domestically and internationally. He has been instrumental in the completion of projects as diverse as the design and manufacture of the Space Station robotic arm for the Canadian Space Agency and NASA, to the management of large integrated programs and operational organizations at General Motors, Pratt & Whitney and L-3 Communications. He has been on the leading edge of innovative technological implementation to improve operational effectiveness in the aerospace, automotive and hi-technology industries. Mr. Devlin holds a BASc. from the University of Toronto and is a licensed professional engineer with the Professional Engineers Ontario.
Richard Scott

Richard Scott is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick and is a registered Professional Engineer with the APEGNB. Richard has over 25 years experience through varying roles and responsibilities in the road and highway transportation sector. Over the last 20 years, he has worked within roadway transportation departments and private highway authorities with overall responsibilities for the operations and maintenance of significant highway networks and projects such as the floating bridge across the Okanagan Lake in Kelowna, BC and the four-lane Trans-Canada Highway from Moncton to the Quebec Border. As the Director of Roads and Infrastructure, Richard is responsible for the operations, maintenance and rehabilitation of several long-term highway, bridge and Public-Private Partnership projects.
Roméo Poitras

Romeo Poitras joined Brun-Way Highway Operations Inc. in June 2005, following 17 years of progressively increasing responsibility with the New Brunswick Department of Transportation. He began as a Resident Engineer and eventually became District Engineer for the Edmundston and Perth-Andover areas where he provided overall transportation management direction for all programs and services within district operations, ensuring effective and efficient use of resources and public funds. Romeo was in charge of administration, maintenance and construction, operational planning, financial and human resource management, safety, environment and quality, in addition to summer and winter road maintenance, bridge maintenance, equipment maintenance and capital construction programs.
At Brun-Way, Romeo is responsible for the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation (OMR) of 275 kilometres of the Trans-Canada Highway in western New Brunswick. As OMR Manager, he ensures that all highway facilities and related components are maintained and operated safely, in accordance with all provincial OMR standards and contractual requirements of the project agreement, and in a cost-effective manner. Brun-Way Operations is this year’s recipient of an Award for Outstanding Achievement at SNC-Lavalin’s International Symposium.
Romeo, who received a bachelor of applied science degree in civil engineering from the Université de Moncton in 1988, was named the Faculty of Engineering alumnus of the year in 2006. He and his wife, Annette Barriault, are the parents of two boys, Sylvain and Jean-François. Active in community and professional life, Romeo is a member of the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce, the American Public Work Association, the Association Quebecoise des transports et routes, the Road Builders Association of New Brunswick, the Transportation Association of Canada, the NB Construction Safety Association and the Canadian Technical Asphalt Association, among others.
Connie Stairs

Connie Stairs is a professional civil engineer and graduate of the University of New Brunswick who has been involved with managing both of the private highway consortium's (Maritime Road Development Corporation and Brun-Way Highways Operations Inc.) contracts (Fredericton to Moncton Highway and Fredericton to Quebec Border) currently being administered in New Brunswick.During her career, she has held such positions as Quality Coordinator, Project and Structural Engineer and now Chief Engineer for Brun-Way Highways Operations Inc. As Chief Engineer, her responsibilities include preparing annual maintenance and rehabilitation contracts for all of the highway infrastructure assets and developing and implementing highway facility asset management policies and procedures.In addition to these responsibilities, she and her Brun-Way team members research and implement innovative methods / techniques to better manage the long term operational, maintenance and rehabilition performance requirements for this Public Private Partnership (P3) Contract.
Connie is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB), the Canadian Technical Asphalt Association (CTAA) and the New Brunswick Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association (RBHCA).
Lisa Leeuw

Lisa Leeuw is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick and has provided accounting services in various industries for nearly twenty years. The early part of Lisa’s career was spent in the automotive industry, followed by several years as Controller for a Consulting Engineer in the communication tower industry. Most recently, Lisa worked as Controller for Brun-Way Construction Inc., during which time the twinning of the Trans-Canada Highway through New Brunswick was completed. That project provided a wealth of experience that lends itself perfectly to her new role as the Controller for Brun-Way Highways Operations Inc.
